Andy the Appaloosa

Yesterday I road on a horse named Andy. Andy was so AWESOME! Last time I was afraid of a little hill. We had to run it up. Andy kept on jerking hid head up so I was yelling at him. Ron said if I yell at him then his head jerking would turn into a canter. I just ignored it. There was also this girl there and she came with us on the trail ride. I really like her she gave me a few treats to give to Andy and Lily (the horse that she rode on.) Then she showed me where horses like to be petted and where to pinch on the mane. Well G2g!

Trail Riding

Today mom and I went on a trail ride. I rode a horse named Pinedoll, and mom rode Red. The horses were being such a snot though! Piney (Pinedoll) wanted to buck me off. We went back to the ranch and got Festus. Festus does not buck so I was safe on him. Mom asked if we could go in the water. Ron got his feet wet a little bit. Well got to go!

Whoa Redman!

This week I road a horse named Redman. We call him Red for short. Then mom got on Cody. Red is all red and Cody is all black. When we got started, we walked around the arena at a walking pace. Then we got them into a trot.
Later, I had some problems controlling Red. I was kicking and kicking but nothing happened. I was giving him more than 1 signal at a time. At the end of the lesson Red reared up on his 2 hind legs almost making me fall off. When I got off of him I tried not to cry, but I did. I feel better now. Ron, my horse riding instructer, said I did a good job because I stayed tough with Red.Thanks sfor reading. Leave any comments!
